Shut Down Week Added
Today, I received the latest Corporate Scheduling Decisions that impact Fort Wayne Assembly. A down week has been added to our schedule, beginning November 8, 2010, to adjust production to current market demand.
A United Auto Workers official tells Inside INdiana Business a tentative agreement has been reached between General Motors Co. and JD Norman Industries for JD Norman to purchase the Indianapolis Stamping plant. UAW Region 3 Director Mo Davison says details of the proposed deal will not be released pending a meeting of Local 23 membership Sunday.
The Dependent Scholarship Program for Children HAS NOT been Reinstated at this time.
